• Funds means how much gold you have.
• You use gold to Build Upgrades, buy Weapons, Armors, Gear and Tools, Train Warriors, Ninja and Shinobi and hire Mercenaries.
• Your units generate gold for you. Each type of unit earns you a different amount of gold per turn (GPT):
  • Peasants: 7 GPT
  • Warriors (all three types): 4 GPT
  • Covert Troops (Ninja and Shinobi): 3 GPT.
  • Mercenaries: 0 GPT.
• Gold generated adds up to your Available Funds.
• Your Available Funds (Found in the command center, under Military Overview) is your treasury and it is in risk of being taken by other shoguns attacking you or stealing from you.

Upgrade Bank

In the 'Command Center', under Military Overview, you can use "Deposit to Upgrade Bank". It transfer gold from your treasury to your Upgrade Bank.

• Gold in your Upgrade Bank can only be used to buy Upgrades, but it can't be stolen or taken by other shoguns. It also does not appear in the total sum of your treasury's funds.
• Below Military Overview you can see your 'Projected Income'. How much gold you receive and in what intervals. (i.e. 193 Gold every 7.375 minutes)

Money gained through actions

• Attacking other shoguns or stealing from them can get you money.
• Your Available funds in your top most left corner will be red and bold. Below you'll see a message of time left - When the time is up the funds go automatically to your upgrade bank.
• This money gained can't be taken form you. You can use it or wait till it gets auto-deposited.
• Every time you use an action the time-left resets, so you can accumulate large amount of funds in successive actions and use it all at once.
