Thanks everyone for your support here and elsewhere.

I totally understand the anger regarding the season changeover. It is really frustrating. Even as I was there trying to get the server back up I know it was coming, and I knew it would be bad for the game.

But all we can do is keep a positive attitude and move on.

I'll be posting later today regarding email verification and other things.

The server went down on Thanksgiving, which as you all know was the day of the age change. I wish as much as anyone that it worked out another way and I know how frustrating it is. That situation sucks unbelievably, and I can't think of any other way to describe it.

I became aware of the situation early in the day and yes, I did leave my family Thanksgiving to try to fix it.

Unfortunately it was not possible, the people we needed to get the server up and running were off for the holiday. My hands were tied at that point.

There was nothing I else I could do. I could not access the server to delay the age change, try and get the word out on what was going on, or anything to help the situation.

As Obscurum said, the changeover is automatic. The second things were up again, it fired and the new age had begun.

So there you have it. If I could change it, I would. If I could have fixed it, I would have.

Instead, all I can do is offer my sincere apologies and condolences to everyone affected at the age ending.

Armies can now be moved around without having to return to home base and be re-created each time. Just go to the normal "Send Troops" screen and you should find a list of current armies as well as an area to create a new army.

This should allow for a more tactical approach to the game. More new stuff to come on Phoenix...

I've fixed another bug in email verification. This should take care of most of the complaints there.

I've got some more work to do on Phoenix before I reset it again, but that will be coming soon.
